Register for the Road trip to SC

BUS TRIP

We can reserve a comfortable 56 passenger motor coach for the game in Columbia, and we can deliver this to you for only $50.00 per person. Included in that price is travel, parking, driver tip, and a BBQ tailgate lunch from Saucehouse BBQ in Athens. The price for guests will also be $50.00 and each Touchdown Club Member is welcome to bring up to three guests. To reserve your seat(s) on the bus go to www.touchdownclubofathens.com and look for the link (we can take a check mailed to our P.O. Box as well). Then on game day all you have to do is bring your game ticket and come along for the ride to cheer the Dawgs to another road victory. Reservations must be made by September 23, 2016 so we can have time to finalize the plans. We need a minimum of 30 participants for the trip to make, but we can also only take a maximum of 56 on a first come first served basis.

Overview: The bus leaves on game day approximately 5 ½ hours before the game from Kevin Price General Contractor offices at 2500 Daniels Bridge Road, Athens 30606. Upon arrival at the stadium we enjoy a BBQ tailgate buffet and any beverages you care to bring along (alcohol is permitted). There will be room under the bus for larger coolers and folding tailgate chairs, or even tents. The bus would leave approximately one hour after the game ends to return to Athens.

We hope this opportunity will be met with the same enthusiasm and excitement as the first game. If you are interested but don’t have tickets, we do have a line of some tickets so check with us before you decide to sit home. Don’t delay and sign up for your seat(s) on the bus.

Go Dawgs,

Mason McWhorter
Executive Secretary

On Oxford

I’m a writer and Georgia man who didn’t leave our state all summer. I asked editor Vance Leavy if I could do something a whole lot different and write about my first impressions of the town and tailgate scene in Oxford for Bulldawg Illustrated.     Home to a huge literary community and […]
